Who we are and what this covers

Meenox is a trade name of RM Ventures, a proprietorship run by Raj Meena in India.

This policy covers this website (meenox.com) and every app and tool Meenox makes (Meenox apps), such as Silkpath, whether you use it on the web or on a phone. Every Meenox app links to this page.

Raj Meena answers every question about your data. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 80855 20042.

What we never do

We never sell your data, never show ads in our apps, and never track you across other apps or websites. We collect only what we need. You can use this website without signing up.

Cookies and analytics on this website, only with your OK

If you press Accept in the cookie box, we use Google Analytics (by Google) and Microsoft Clarity (by Microsoft) to understand how people use this site: which pages are visited, roughly which country visitors come from, and how they scroll and click. Clarity can record visits to the site as a replay, with what you type into forms hidden. These tools set cookies, and Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies.

If you press Decline, or do nothing, neither tool loads and no cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

What this website keeps on your device

A few small things are saved in your browser, so the site remembers them next time. They never leave your device:

  • The currency you picked for prices.
  • Today's exchange rates, so they do not need to be downloaded again for a day.
  • Your cookie choice.

Services this website uses when you use a feature

Some features need another service. Each one sees only what it needs, plus the basic details any website request carries, such as your IP address. Some of these services keep data on servers outside India:

  • Prices in your currency: your browser downloads a public exchange-rates file from jsDelivr. No personal data is sent.
  • The free website check in the business check: the website address you type is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights to test it.
  • WhatsApp and email buttons: your own WhatsApp or email app opens with a message already written. Nothing is sent until you press send. After that, WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider handles the message under their own policies.
  • Sending a message or your business check result from this site: what you type is stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and emailed to Raj.

When you contact us

When you message us, email us or send a form on this site, we use your name, number, email and what you wrote only to reply and to work with you.

The business check and the price calculator do not save your answers. They reach us only if you choose to send them.

A business check result has its own link so you can share it or open it again. The link holds only your answers to the check, never your name, number or email. Anyone you give the link to can see that result.

What Meenox apps collect

Each app collects only what it needs to work, and uses it only to run that app and to help you. Depending on the app, that is:

  • Your account: your name, your email or phone number, and how you sign in, if the app has accounts.
  • What you add: for example menus and orders, tenants and meter readings, or the websites you check. It stays yours.
  • Technical details: your device type, the app version and error reports, so we can find and fix problems.
  • Payments: if an app takes payments, a payment provider handles your card or UPI details. We never see or keep your full card number.
  • Phone permissions, such as the camera to scan a QR code or notifications for reminders: asked for only when a feature needs them. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.

When we share data

We never sell your data or share it for marketing. We share it only:

  • With the services that run this website and our apps for us, such as hosting, payment and messaging providers. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.
  • With the business that runs an app you use, if Meenox built that app for them.
  • When the law requires it, for example a court order or a lawful request from the government.
  • With anyone else only if you ask us to, or agree to it.

Where app data is kept

Apps Meenox runs itself keep their data on the cloud servers of our hosting provider, which may be outside India.

For an app we build for a business, the business chooses where its data is kept, and can move it later:

  • In the business's own hosting account, on the hosting provider's cloud servers.
  • Managed by Meenox: in a hosting account we run for the business, on the same kind of cloud servers.
  • On a computer in the business's own office. The data stays on that machine, and the business looks after it.

How data is protected

App data travels over an encrypted connection. Each business's or person's data is kept apart, so other accounts cannot see it. In apps Meenox runs, only Raj can reach the systems behind them. Some data, such as your sign-in, is also kept on your phone so the app works quickly.

No system is perfectly safe. If data in an app we run is ever exposed, we tell the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires. If it is an app we run for a business, we tell that business straight away, so it can tell its customers.

Apps we build for a business

When we build an app for a business, that business decides what the app collects and why. It is responsible for its own data and its customers' data, and we use that data only on its instructions: to build, run and fix the app.

The same goes for automations we build for a business, including its WhatsApp messages and phone calls: call logs, recordings and transcripts belong to that business, which must tell callers when a call is recorded.

Our part depends on who runs the app:

  • Managed by Meenox, on a paid monthly plan: we keep the app and its data secure on the systems we run. Our responsibility covers only that, and only while the monthly plan is active.
  • Run by the business itself, in its own accounts or on its own computer: the business is responsible for the app, its data, its safety and everyone it gives access to. Meenox is not. If the business gives us temporary access to fix something, we use the data only for that fix.
  • Either way, we are not responsible for data that anyone else with access, such as the business, its staff or another developer, has changed, deleted or shared.
  • If you are a customer of that business, for example you ordered through a restaurant's app, ask the business first about your data. You can also contact us, and we will help the business answer you.

How long we keep data

  • Messages and forms from people who do not become clients: 1 year after the last message, then deleted.
  • Clients' details and messages: for as long as we work together.
  • Data you delete in an app, including a whole account: it goes to a recycle bin first, so it can be brought back if it was deleted by mistake. After 30 days it is deleted for good. Where an app has this setting, you can change the number of days in its settings.
  • Backups: an app's data and its code are backed up separately. Data backups are kept for no more than 7 days, so data deleted for good is gone from them within 7 days. Code backups (earlier versions of the app) hold no personal data.
  • An app we manage for a business: for as long as we run it. When the plan ends, we give the business a copy of its data, then delete ours within 30 days.
  • Records the law makes us keep, such as invoices: for as long as tax law requires.

Deleting your account and data

How you delete your account and data depends on the app:

  • Apps with a Delete account option: open your account or settings page and choose Delete account.
  • Custom apps made for one business, which only that business and its hosting provider can reach: ask that business (see Apps we build for a business). If Meenox runs the app for them, you can also ask us.
  • For any app Meenox runs, you can also ask us. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 80855 20042. Write from the email or number on your account, and tell us the app's name and whether you want your whole account deleted or only some of your data.
  • Deleted data waits in the recycle bin for 30 days, then is deleted for good. Records the law makes us keep, such as invoices, stay until the law lets us delete them. We confirm when your request is done, within 7 days.

Children

This website and Meenox apps are made for businesses and adults, not for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent. This applies to this website and to every Meenox app. You can also name a person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot use them yourself.

To do any of these, contact us as above. To protect your data, we may ask you to prove who you are first. We reply within 7 days. Withdrawing consent stops us using your data from then on; it does not undo what was done before.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If a change affects how an app uses your data, we tell you in the app or by email first.
